Colour the sound is an online analog tube audio processing application. The purpose of this site is to allow users working in a digital recording environment to process their audio through an analog tube compressor remotely, while staying entirely within a digital process.

Audio is uploaded to our analog processing instalation space, where through remote robotics and webcam/audio streaming a user can control an analog tube compressor and process high quality  .wav files through it.

This site is purely a beta demonstration of this proposal for a larger automated facility of vintage analog signal processing equipment, but also serves as a free utility for those without access to this kind of equipment or in a remote location (ex: recording/mixing audio on a laptop using wireless internet access) to process their audio through a vintage analog tube compressor.
