Chicka Chicka Boom| by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault

Bill Martin Jr. (1916-2004) was an American children's literature author, who wrote for nearly 60 years. In his lifetime he published over 300 books, including two classics: "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?" and "Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear?"

John Archambault is most well-known for his collaboration on "Chicka Chicka Book Boom." However, he has also co-authored over 20 other books. John's motto for creating literature children will enjoy? "Melody and song carry words along."

Lois Ehlert is both a skilled illustrator and children's author. Her book "Color Zoo" was named Caldecott Honor Book in 1990. Some of Lois's other works include: "Planting a Rainbow," "Eating the Alphabet" and "Feathers for Lunch."
